Travel

Travelling was how I originally got into photography all those years ago. The buzz of discovering a hidden corner of the globe, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures, always trying to capture the decisive moment to take back 'home' with me has always been a challenge that I relish. And while I have been lucky enough to visit most of the seven continents of the world, my 'wish list' somehow seems to be growing my the day...

Reportage

Reportage, as many of you will know, is the art of telling a story through a still image. You'll all no doubt have heard of the 'decisive moment' as well... This particular portfolio is for the most part black & white, as it's always seemed to me to be the natural medium to use, one that offers a different way of looking at the world, one in which the simplicity and subtlety of shadow and tone triumph over the obvious distractions of colour. Perhaps that's exactly the point: photography is about so much more than a simple rendering of what's in front of the camera. "I want to achieve an interpretation of life, and somehow colour sometimes seems to get in the way".

Locations & Interiors

In recent years, I've started working more and more with location, interiors, architecture & design clients. Between private clients and various resorts & retreats, I've been lucky enough to have commissions that takes me both on and off the beaten track and most locations and shoots present a new challenge. Although it maybe sounds a little cliché, when at all possible, I always try to live 'on-site' throughout the shoot as it offers me the luxury of time and reflection, which in turn allows me to capture the subject in the very best and most dynamic light possible...

Commercial & Corporate

In recent years, the digital photography industry has experienced insane growth sometimes resulting in an overly-saturated market of imagery and the ever-impatient end client will often want and need their imagery within tighter and tighter deadlines - With this in mind, nowadays a lot of my Commercial work is licensed after the shoot itself via PhotoRag that said, luckily some clients still have the resources and time for specific commissions so do get in touch via the contact form for more information.

Boutique Events

Continuing with a natural, candid reportage style of photography, we manage to capture all of those special moments throughout the event. Specializing in location weddings in the warmer climes of the Mediterranean area (as well as events as far as Israel, Morocco and Costa Rica), one of the most popular packages in recent years continues to be the Montage Design Book. The essence of this 'coffee-table book' is almost like a 'storyboard' of your whole day from start to finish. There is a strong element of design throughout the pages that work hand-in-hand with the 'reportage' style of photography, really helping to re-live all those decisive moments of the event and the day as a whole. I've included a few slides in the portfolio that will hopefully help you to understand the products on offer and the way I work. As always, for more info, availability and tariffs, don't hesitate to get in touch via our Contact Form.
